I have Forefront TMG 2010 (sp2) configured to block Streaming Media, and Online Communities categories (www.youtube.com; www.facebook.com), while these rules works great in IE and Firefox; somehow Google Chrome manages to evade these rules. From searching online, I've read that this is due to Chrome behaving like a firewall client.

My question is, is there a way to prevent Chrome from behaving in this manner to effectively block URLs. If not what steps can be taken to completely block Google Chrome from accessing the internet.

Please test with a Chrome client, check the TMG logging to find why the Chrome could bypass the rules you set.

You could also check the thread below. It shows the clients can access youtube (using HTTPS protocol) with Chrome. The workaround is unchecking automatically Detect settings .
